The idea of this website or the occasion was to send postcards while on vacation ...
... to do that with a website ... well, that's fun.
I do not get wet with Facebook, Instagram and Co.
Nevertheless, I would be happy if old friends and acquaintances find me here.
The illustrated books / galleries begin with our first overseas trip overseas to the USA in 1992.
Almost two months through California, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada sparked the passion for road trips through the US and Canada.

In the following years, other western states such as Washington, Oregon, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah and Alaska were added.
We also "experienced" the East Coast. The so-called New England States, starting from Boston, as well as the southeast of Washington DC via the Blue Ridge Mountain Highway, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and South Carolina showed us how diverse the country is and also scenic and climatically off the west coast different.
In 1997, we were traveling in the southwestern United States for five weeks.
Then the way led us to Alaska. Further information will follow.
